We are Hivemint Auto Care Sdn Bhd (Reg. No. 1382647-K), registered in Malaysia and operating an automotive detailing studio at Lot 14 Jalan Industri Subang 5, Subang Jaya, Selangor 47620. For privacy-related queries you can reach us by email at [email protected].
What we collect
We only collect the information needed to respond to your booking enquiry and to look after the car if you choose to bring it in:
- Name, mobile number and email address from the contact form or WhatsApp.
- Vehicle make, model, registration and condition photos you choose to share with us.
- Service history of bookings completed in our studio (date, treatment, notes).
- Anonymous browsing data such as device type and referring page, if you accept analytics cookies.
How we use the information
To return a quote, schedule your booking, contact you about progress, and provide written warranty support after treatment. We also use aggregated, non-identifying information to plan capacity at the studio.
What we never do
- We do not sell your data to anyone, ever.
- We do not share booking information with insurance companies, dealerships or marketing agencies.
- We do not send marketing emails unless you explicitly subscribe.
Service providers we rely on
Where strictly necessary we use third-party tools to operate the business. These include an SMS gateway (for booking reminders), an email host for staff inboxes, and a payment processor for card transactions. Each provider is bound by its own privacy obligations under Malaysian or equivalent law.
How long we keep your data
Enquiry records are kept for 24 months unless you become a customer. Customer service history is kept for the lifetime of any active coating warranty plus three years after expiry. You can ask us to delete your record at any time using the email above.
Your rights under Malaysian PDPA
You have the right to access the personal data we hold about you, to correct it if anything is wrong, and to request deletion. Send the request from the email address you originally used and we will action it within 14 working days.
