What actually happens between drop-off and pickup.
Coating is only as good as the prep underneath. We spend most of the first day decontaminating and polishing — the visible work — before any chemistry touches the panel.
- Day 1, AM: hand wash, iron remover, clay decontamination, tar removal.
- Day 1, midday: measured paint depths logged, single-stage machine correction.
- Day 1, PM: IPA wipe-down, masking of trim and emblems, environment check (38–48 % RH).
- Day 2, AM: first coating layer applied panel-by-panel, flash time observed.
- Day 2, midday: second sacrificial layer for slickness and water beading.
- Day 2, PM: 4-hour humidity-controlled cure, walk-around inspection, handback.

A ceramic coating is not maintenance-free, it is maintenance-friendly. Follow the simple guidance below and the gloss stays as it was on handback.

First week
Keep the car dry and out of heavy rain for 48 hours. Avoid car parks with overhead sprinklers.
M1
First month
Use only pH-neutral shampoo on the next wash. Avoid the kerbside coin-op booths until the coating fully hardens.
Q1
Quarterly
Book a maintenance wash with us. We inspect water-beading angle and reapply a fresh top layer if needed (complimentary).
Y1
Annually
Full inspection, gloss check and warranty validation. Free of charge for the lifetime of the warranty.

Frequently asked coating questions.
Will ceramic make my car scratch-proof?
No. The coating is hard enough to resist swirls and many wash-induced marks, but a deliberate scratch from keys, gravel or sharp branches will still cut into clear coat. Ceramic protects from contamination and chemical damage, not impact.
What is the difference between 9H and graphene?
9H ceramic is a silica-based crystalline layer with strong hydrophobicity. Graphene coatings add reduced graphene oxide and tend to run cooler and resist water-spotting better. Both work; we recommend graphene on dark colours that park in sunny lots.
Can I have my new car coated straight from the showroom?
Yes — in fact this is the best time. Factory paint usually has very few defects and the coating bonds to bare clear coat at its glossiest. Bring the car within the first 90 days for the best result.
